Its been a month since the people of Logan’s Bay and its five captains where dragged into the sea by the Dread of Voodun. The true horror of their fate has ben witnessed by the new arrivals and survivors of the most recent wreck but its feared none have survived the ordeal.
The Festival of the Red Flag however continued and the new appointment of captains to the ships of Logan’s Bay, along with a new Governor means by law, Logan’s Bay can trade. Ben Gunn has returned and started to put to pieces his map, a map that will take those brave enough for adventure to a new Island he has discovered he has called ‘Frontier’. Adventure await.
However, in the rest of Salvation, War has broken out between the French and English Colonies with brutal fighting has made any kind of travel treacherous, be it across land or water. Governor Swift has managed to keep the Bay out of the fight so far, but pressure from the Capitol to get more involved has meant a whole section of redcoats have been recalled and left the town and docks protection in the hands of the crews as well as the Redcoats.
Logan’s Bay has problems of its own, what with the Queen Ann being turned into a fire ship and sent to destroy the other ships floating in the bay. It was ‘The Headsman’ Captain Jeremy who saved the other ships in the bay from the same fate as the Queen Ann and through good fortune the hull of the Queen Ann was also saved.
She has been given to the Redcoats to repair and crew, but the cost will have to be shared by all the captains of Logan’s Bay.
The Pirate King of the Barberry Coast, Captain Grimes has begun to make his play for the bay too. It would seem he has an accord with the French and no one is standing in his way. He has tested the captains of Logan’s bay and many on both sides were lost or badly hurt. After a month respite, both sides are ready for what’s to come. There is one crime that Logan’s Bay will never forgive, The Fire Ship!
