Forsaken Event 1: One Year In

By Charlie · On October 28, 2015

The survivors have been hiding from the possessed dead for a year now, in recent months they have been aided by some very helpful people and the group has grown. Keeping on the move there has rarely been more than three days before the dead forced them to up sticks and move on.

As food grows scarce and the cold nights grow longer many of the survivors have almost given up hope of finding somewhere to rest up when they come across a burnt out military convoy. The fires long dead leaving behind rusty shells look as if they could have been there for years but they all know the truth. One year has passed regardless of it feeling like an eternity.

It was one of the helpful survivors who found it. You know him and his friends well. The one with the leather waist coat, his Hell’s Angels insignia a welcome site since the first time he got you and your loved ones out of trouble.

A strong box in the rotten frame and scrap of what used to be some kind of 4×4, its rusted frame so brittle it collapsed with the slightest touch. There it was cryptic but some hope at last, a message and a map.

Command,

asset has been secured in isolated area. Alpha team is holding position in make shift camp. Asset is on lock down until you arrive.

The asset claims to know why the dead rise and has a solution. Charlie team has moved to location identified by asset to confirm claims.

We will remain with the asset until ordered to move.

Maj. Blackwell

That was several days ago, the guy with the Hell’s Angel insignia asked what the survivors thought and they agreed unanimously to head in the direction of Major Blackwell and the mysterious asset.

It’s a cold dark night but according to the map the camp isn’t much further.

Even with empty stomachs and the dead never far away some hope has been restored to this travelling band of survivors.
