As part of a weekend on death in LARP I wanted to feature this beautiful book made by Brian Chandler-Kirk from Umbra Armoury.
This book is to record the traditions of the Orcs so that they are preserved and aren’t lost with the passing of the generations. It is also dedicated to Irontide Bruk and will record the names of the fallen orcs in order to remember them.
Stories and histories are usually referred to as worth within the Orc culture of Empire LRP. My own character sees writing as the currency of worth, and for the orcs the stories of worth protect them from the vengeful ancestors in both ritual and battle.
