So photographers create promotional packs to send out to art directors in order to show off their work and what they’re capable of. Justin Poulson is a Toronto based photographer who specialises in surreal photography. The difference between him and many other photographers? He makes his own props.
Of course it would seem natural then that his promo would reflect his prop building as well as his photography. I’m reasonably sure that some art directors will have been slightly freaked out as this appeared on their desk, but I’m sure they won’t forget him in a hurry!
The video at the end shows the process he took to create these ultra-realistic thumb drives (geddit?) and I hope it provides some inspiration for you guys to have a go at some grisly LARP props!
